Our Story

SusPro, short for Sustainable Protein, believes that taking care of the environment and one's health is a responsibility for everyone. You don’t have to jeopardize your surroundings or your health to fulfill your taste buds and the need for all essential amino acids.

Our passion for plant based, vegan, nutritious food is rooted in our Founder's personal obsession with rich green diets and his concern for allergen sensitive people, as himself is allergic to dairy and crustacean. His perception was enhanced through his Bachelor Degree in Nutrition and Health. When he decided it was time for change, he created SusPro to change the world one bite at a time.

SusPro has rigorous standards to source all the ingredients. We carefully selects ingredients that fall under two categories: the nutritional dense superfoods and low sugar. We try to pack more nutrition per calorie and guarantee that every bar contains all essential amino acids to provide a balance protein intake and nutrition. Furthermore, all the bars contain a high level of healthy fats, which include monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats. All the bars are natural and under 4g of sugar.

  • Producing 1 kg of beef require 160 times more land compared to 1 kg of grain protein.

    Producing 1 kg of beef requires 100 times more water compared to 1 kg of grain protein. In California, it takes 2,464 gallons of water to produce one pound of beef. On the other hand, only 25 gallons of water are required for one pound of wheat. 40% of fresh water used in the US is used in feed crops irrigation.

    Producing 1 kg of beef gives off 11 times more greenhouse gas emission. Methane may be the most serious gas given off from livestock where the gas traps heat in the atmosphere and causes temperature rise.

    Cows are incredibly inefficient at converting grain to meat. Plant-based diets are more sustainable and have little to no environmental impact compared to meat-based diets and should be the ideal choice for anyone wishing to promote a healthy sustainable living and environment.
